SEI USUCT joined the poetic flashmob Poetry of Fate dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka

To mark the 155th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka‘s birth, students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of USUCT actively participated in the university-wide online flashmob UDCTU “Poetry of Fate”, dedicated to honoring the creative heritage of the outstanding Ukrainian poetess.

It was at the Educational and Scientific Institute of USUCT that the poetic initiative was launched, which later united students from various educational and scientific institutes of the university. The students of the institute enthusiastically read Lesya Ukrainka’s poetry, conveying the depth of her words, strength of spirit, and relevance of ideas for the modern generation.

Students of various educational programs and specialties of the Educational and Scientific Institute of USUCT joined the flashmob, including participants of the Literary Society of USUCT, students of philology and humanitarian fields. Among the participants:

  • Bohdana Davydova (gr. 4-СО(укр), Faculty of Economics and Humanities and Law),
  • Olexandra Snehur (gr. 4-ПО-12, Faculty of Food and Chemical Technologies),
  • Olga Guba (gr. 2-СО(а)-90, Faculty of Economics and Humanities and Law),
  • Anastasia Fitkovska (gr. 1-СО(а), Faculty of Economics and Humanities and Law),
  • Viktoria Lisina (gr. 1-Phil, Faculty of Economics and Humanities and Law),
  • Nastya Kulyk (gr. 2-ПП-65, Faculty of Pharmacy and biotechnology).

In each performance, there was a sincere respect for the work of Lesya Ukrainka, awareness of her role in the formation of Ukrainian culture and national consciousness. For the student youth of the institute, the flash mob became an opportunity not only to join the university-wide cultural initiative, but also to rethink the poetic heritage of the classics of Ukrainian literature.

The Institute of Literary Studies of the Ukrainian State Technical University continues to support cultural and educational projects that contribute to the development of the humanitarian component of education, the formation of value orientations of youth, and the preservation of national cultural memory.
