On January 28, 2026, during the solemn extended meeting of the Academic Council of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine awarded scientists and employees for their professional achievements and contribution to the development of education and science.

Among the awardees were representatives of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology”.

For personal achievements in professional and official activities, impeccable work and personal merits in the performance of official duties related to the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of education and science, a significant personal contribution to the development of the educational sector, Professor Oleksandr Viktorovych Zaychuk, Head of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Biomedical Materials, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of USUST, was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Excellent Education”.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine’s Gratitude Award for many years of conscientious work, significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity was awarded to Elena Gruzdeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology and Ecology.
