Researchers of the SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of USUST took part in the First All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Individual Implants in Orthopedics and Traumatology: Science, Technologies, Practice”, which was held in Kyiv on May 1, 2026.

Associate Professor of the Department of Fuel, Polymer and Printing Materials Technologies, Senior Research Fellow Oleh Kalinichenko, participated in the event. He presented the results of scientific research devoted to the development of innovative bioactive implantation systems for reconstructive surgery (commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).

During the conference, participants discussed the implementation of individual implants into clinical practice, particularly for the treatment of complex injuries. The presented results emphasized the practical orientation of scientific research and its importance for the development of modern medicine.
