Scientists of SEI USUCT gave a report at the event “Science Day – 2025”
The annual scientific event “Science Day – 2025”, organized by the M.S. Polyakov Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine together with the Prydniprovsk Scientific Center of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, brought together representatives of scientific institutions and higher education institutions of the region. This year, the event was held in an online format, which allowed a wide range of participants to join.
The welcoming speech was delivered by the head of the PRC of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Bulat, who emphasized the importance of scientific developments in wartime and recognized scientists of the Dnipropetrovsk region for their significant contribution to the development of science. Professor Margarita Skyba was honored from the NNI of the Udmurt State Technical University.
Representatives of the educational and scientific institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” joined the event:
- Olexandr Kharchenko, Assistant to the Rector for Scientific Work, Head of the Department of Pharmacy and Technology of Organic Substances, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor;
- Oleg Kalinichenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Fuel, Polymer and Printing Materials Technologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences;
- Evgeny Shayniuk, Master’s student of the 5-KhTP group.
Oleg Kalinichenko presented a report on the topic “Application of anodic spark oxidation technology to create biocompatible coatings for a new generation of 3D implants”, which aroused interest among the participants of the event.
The following speakers also spoke during the program:
- Tetyana Zaitseva (Oles Honchar National University of Science and Technology) with the topic “Integration of Artificial Intelligence Technologies into Science and Society”;
- Vyacheslav Skosar (Institute of Transport Systems and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) with the report “Rechargeable Batteries for Various Purposes of Technology”.
