On February 5, 2026, a strategic session of the USUST’s partner, Kharkiv IT Cluster, was held in Dnipro, dedicated to the analysis of market challenges, personnel needs, and development opportunities in the region. Representatives of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology participated in the event:

• Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems of the National Research Institute of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology Oksana Lyashenko,
• Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Biomedical Materials, Head of the Department of Career, Employment and Cooperation with Stakeholders of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology Olexiy Sigunov.

During the session, the participants worked on issues of shortage of specialists, formation of relevant competencies for the IT industry and related sectors, as well as on the development of inclusive solutions for involving different groups of the population in economic activity. The format of the open discussion allowed to move from outlining problems to developing practical ideas for future projects and partnerships.

The participation of representatives of the SEI USUCT in such events contributes to strengthening cooperation with the IT community and adapting educational programs to the real needs of the labor market.
