The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology team participating in the Academic Managers Professional Development Program also includes representatives of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology. This initiative is implemented by the British Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the World Bank’s Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results (UIHERP) project.

The university team from the SEI USUCT included:

• Natalya Chupryna — Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Humanities and Law (team leader),
• Larysa Garmider — Head of the Department of Economics and Law,
• Olga Kuchkova — Head of the Department of Marketing and Career Guidance,
• Olexandr Savchenko — Head of the Department of Philology and Translation.

The program provides for the improvement of managerial competencies and the development of a team approach in educational management. Key areas include strategic planning, digital transformation, academic integrity, quality of education, and strengthening institutional capacity.

This year, participation in the Program became possible for 93 university teams across Ukraine — based on the results of a competitive selection from 187 submitted applications.

Our team’s training started on April 2, 2025 and already provides an opportunity to exchange experience, form a modern vision of the development of higher education, and implement practices that meet today’s challenges.
