Professor of the Department of Inorganic Materials Technology and Ecology of the SEI USUCT, Doctor of Technical Sciences Margarita Ivanivna Skyba became the laureate of the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Young Scientists for 2025. The award was awarded for the scientific work “New approaches to the “green” production of functional nanosystems for specific purposes”.

The award was officially approved by Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 4713-IX of December 4, 2025. In her research, Margarita Skyba offers modern environmentally friendly approaches to the synthesis of nanomaterials, which can be applied in industry, the medical field, cleaning technologies and other areas where it is important to combine high efficiency with environmental safety.

This award is traditionally given to young scientists whose scientific results determine the trajectory of development of Ukrainian science and technology. For our university, this is a special reason for pride, because the list of laureates includes a representative of the scientific school of the SEI USUCT.
