Participation of teachers of the National Institute of Technical Education of UDHTU in the international conference of the Lviv Polytechnic

From September 24 to 28, 2024, the V International scientific and technical conference “Promising polymer materials and technologies” was held in Lviv. The event brought together leading scientists from Ukraine and abroad to discuss current issues and the latest achievements in the field of chemistry and polymer technology.

The delegation of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUNT) included:

  • acting rector of UDUNT, professor Kostyantyn Sukhii;
  • acting director of the National Institute of Technical Education of UDHTU, professor Olga Sverdlikovska;
  • head of the department of technology of natural and synthetic polymers, fats and food products, professor Oleg Chervakov;
  • assistant professor of the department of technology of natural and synthetic polymers, fats and food products Iryna Sukha;
  • Head of the Department of Innovative Engineering, Associate Professor Oleg Kabat.

The representatives of USUNT took an active part in the plenary sessions, presenting the results of modern scientific research in the field of polymers. In particular, reports devoted to the development of heat-resistant polymer composites with silica gel, new types of polymer materials with unique properties, and their application in various industries were presented.

As a sign of respect and friendly relations, the UDUNT delegation presented Lviv Polytechnic University with a unique gift – a sleeve decorated with traditional Petrykiv painting, with a symbolic inscription: “To Lviv Polytechnic University from UDUNT 24.09.2024. We are marching to Victory!”.

The event provided the participants with a platform for sharing experience and establishing scientific connections, which will contribute to the further development of polymer technologies. The participation of UDUNT scientists in this conference contributes to increasing the international authority of the university and expanding scientific ties with leading scientific centers of the world.
