On September 14, 2023, first-year students of the Department of Information Systems visited the Dnipro office of one of the largest international IT companies – SoftServe. They saw with their own eyes the working conditions, heard about the corporate culture, learned about the company’s opportunities for the development of beginners, provided by SoftServe Academy.

Such events are the best opportunity to get an inside look at the field where future IT specialists are going to work, because together with the profession, we choose a certain way of life. The SoftServe company (according to Forbes) was included in the top 10 best employers in the country and, of course, is a potential employer for graduates of “Computer Science” and “Software Engineering” specialties. , according to which training is conducted at the graduate department of information systems. Therefore, it is possible that such meetings are the beginning of the movement of students in the direction of preparation for the first job in the specialty. After all, the IT sphere is more dynamic and has a wide choice of ways for self-development.
