On October 2, 2023, the unveiling of a memorial sign to the defenders of our university who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine took place on the Fountain Square of UDHTU

Relatives of the victims were present at the solemn opening ceremony.

Today we took the first step to perpetuate the memory of our boys.

People don’t just say: “As long as we are remembered, people are alive.” Infinite gratitude, eternal memory and glory to the real Heroes of Ukraine, because they gave the most valuable thing that a person can give – this is their life.

The project “Place of honor and gratitude” is active in the UDHTU Museum.
