Open Day “Country of Physical Culture, Sports and Health” at the SEI USUCT

On May 17, 2025, the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health of the SEI USUCT held an Open Day in the sports complex of the university. The event was held in the format of a quest “Country of Physical Culture, Sports and Health”, the participants of which were future applicants.

At the beginning of the event, first-year student Amina Muradosilova performed a patriotic song. The Acting Director of SEI USUCT, Professor Olga Sverdlikovska delivered a welcoming speech. She thanked the participants for their activity and emphasized the importance of sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Among the guests were students of SEI USUCT who have achieved significant sports results. Roman Polyansky, Paralympic Games champion and three-time medalist in academic rowing, shared his story and wished the entrants to confidently pursue their goals. Second-year student Maximilian Malysh, Master of Sports of Ukraine in academic rowing and prize-winner of all-Ukrainian and international competitions, also supported the participants of the event.

Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Lina Sokolova presented the educational program “Restorative Physical Culture and Sports” and spoke about the possibilities of further employment for graduates.

The main part of the event took place in the format of a team quest. Participants performed tasks that combined outdoor games, logical tasks and questions from biology and anatomy.

The holiday ended with the presentation of gifts, a collective photo session and communication with teachers and students of the department.

The Open Day of the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Chemistry was a great opportunity for applicants to get acquainted with the university, learn more about educational programs, and feel like a part of the student family. We thank all participants for their activity and interesting emotions!
