On March 26, 2025, at a meeting of the Academic Council of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, Rector Konstantyn Sukhyi solemnly congratulated Doctor of Chemical Sciences Olesya Shmychkova on being awarded the academic title Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry and presented her with a corresponding certificate.

The decision to award was made by the Academic Council of the university on January 29, 2025 and approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 301 dated February 18, 2025.
