On December 4, 2025, a real New Year’s atmosphere reigned in the hall of the main building of the SEI USUCT. Students, teachers and guests of the institute gathered for the traditional New Year’s concert-fair – an event that gives warmth, strengthens the sense of community and unites everyone around a charitable goal every year.

By lunchtime, the faculties set up festive tables with homemade pastries, sweets, creative products and handmade gifts. From the first minute of the fair, the area around the tables turned into a noisy and joyful festive space: students treated guests, joked, took photos near the thematic photo zone and shared a mood that cannot be faked.

In the afternoon, the concert part began. To the melody of New Year’s music, the presenter greeted everyone present and invited them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of light and goodness. After a minute of gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Anthem of Ukraine was played.

The director of the National Institute of Ukrainian State Technical University, Olga Sverdlikovska, delivered a welcoming speech, thanking the students and teachers for their activity, support for initiatives, and concern, which makes the institute a vibrant and strong community.

The concert gave many vivid impressions. Maria Verbytska performed the touching song “Eternity”, and the dance numbers “Rhythmix” and “Euphoria” added dynamics, drive, and energy to the evening – exactly the charge we are waiting for at the end of the year.

After the performances, everyone returned to the fair tables. Students eagerly bought festive treats and souvenirs, because they knew that every hryvnia was a contribution to gifts for children from the orphanage. Traditionally, this part of the event was the warmest: there were many smiles in the hall, sincere wishes and small kind gestures that create a great common “miracle”.

At the end of the holiday, the participants of the student council and student activities were waiting for a special surprise from the management of the SEI USUCT – New Year’s layers for the Christmas tree with a photo of each person inside. These symbolic gifts were not just a pleasant surprise, but also a reminder that every student is part of the big USUCT family.

The New Year’s concert-fair proved once again: when we unite for the sake of good, the holiday becomes truly special.
