Master’s students of the 5th group of the SEI USUCT recently had the opportunity to see with their own eyes how cosmetics are created: they visited the well-known Dnipro enterprise LLC “LekoPro”, where cosmetics of the famous brands “Sila Loshady” and “Sila Karpaty” are created. For future technologists, this was a meaningful and very revealing excursion into the world of modern cosmetic production.

At the enterprise, all participants received work clothes, which allowed them to comply with cleanliness and safety standards and feel like part of a professional production team. During the visit, they saw technological equipment, the stages of creating cosmetics – from the preparation and weighing of raw materials to homogenization, emulsification and packaging. Special attention was paid to product quality control and testing technologies – students saw how products are checked before entering the market. This allowed them to compare theoretical knowledge with real production processes, strengthening their competence as future technologists.

Participation in such practical activity significantly deepened their understanding of the discipline “Cosmetics Technology”. The students noted that what they saw with their own eyes was not just theory, but “living processes” that help them better understand: the creation of cosmetics requires accuracy, attentiveness and a responsible attitude.

The staff of the SEI USUCT expresses sincere gratitude to the director and the LekoPro team for the hospitable reception, openness and the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern Ukrainian production of cosmetics. The experience gained is another step towards the formation of qualified specialists who will be able to successfully combine theory and practice.

After all, we are not just studying, but preparing for real work in industry and cosmetic production.
