“Mafia” at ArtSpace Brought Together Students of the USUCT SEI and PSACEA
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Director of the USUCT SEI, Associate Professor Yaroslav Mykolaiovych Kozlov, visited the students. He congratulated Vlad Stasenko, a student of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, on his birthday and wished all participants an interesting game, a good mood, and success.
Then the game began. The students quickly found common ground, became involved in the process, listened carefully to one another, analyzed the players’ behavior, put forward theories, and argued their assumptions.
“Mafia” requires not only attentiveness and logic, but also the ability to listen to interlocutors, analyze the situation, express one’s own opinion, and respond to changing circumstances. At the same time, it is a simple format for live communication and new acquaintances.
First-year students also joined the meeting. They quickly became involved in the game and became part of the common team. It is precisely the participation of students from different years and institutes that makes such meetings particularly valuable for the student community.
Such game gatherings have already become one of the formats of activities at ArtSpace. Previous “Mafia” games at the USUCT SEI also brought students together for informal communication, teamwork, and relaxation after classes.
This time, students of PSACEA joined the game, giving representatives of different educational and research institutes of USUST an opportunity to get to know each other. Such meetings create a space for new acquaintances and shared interests beyond the classroom.
The ArtSpace of the USUCT SEI continues to be a place where students can not only participate in creative and intellectual activities, but also simply meet, communicate, and spend time together. The September 14 meeting once again showed that sometimes all it takes to make a new acquaintance is one table, a few roles, and a desire to play together.
