International Internet Conference “Ukraine – the World: Dialogue of Cultures” 2025
On November 20, 2025, the Department of Philosophy and Ukrainian Studies of the SEI USUCT held the annual International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of Higher Education Students and Young Scientists “Ukraine – World: Dialogue of Cultures”. The event was held on the occasion of International Philosophy Day and brought together students, undergraduates, graduate students and young researchers from different cities of Ukraine.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Oles Honchar DNU, the University of Customs and Finance, the Dnipro College of Engineering and Pedagogy (Kamyanske), the Donbas State Pedagogical University (Slovyansk), the University of Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv), the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, the Dnipro Humanitarian University and other educational institutions. Such a wide geography confirmed that young people seek dialogue, creative exchange and the opportunity to be heard.
The Director of the Institute of International Relations of the Ukrainian State Technical University, Professor Olga Sergiyevna Sverdlikovska, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She also joined the discussions within the sections. The organizational part of the conference and the preparation of the collection of abstracts were coordinated by Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Ukrainian Studies Iryna Ilyivna Kakurina. Even in difficult conditions and power outages, the department team ensured that the scientific event was held at a high level.
The conference topics covered a wide range of important issues:
- dialogue of national cultures;
- psychological aspects of personality development;
- modern international relations;
- culture and education in the context of social transformations;
- cultural heritage in physical education;
- challenges and prospects of business in a global environment.
Dialogue of cultures is not just an exchange of ideas or traditions. It is a path to peace, mutual respect and a common future. That is why this scientific, philosophical, psychological, educational, business event is of great importance: it allows us to bring together those who build bridges – between science and society, between Ukraine and the world, between the past and the future.
A scientific conference is an exchange of creative results, ideas, and all this was demonstrated by our participants, who raised issues of philosophy, psychology, culture, ethnic values, personality, business, education, etc. Young creative people emphasized the role of education, new technologies, innovations, creative searches in the development and victory of our state. Everyone understood that participation in the conference, its work and writing theses, personal reflections on difficult and ambiguous issues form creative inclinations, teach us to find innovative elements in the analysis of the problems of modern life.
Thus, the conference became a platform for communication about philosophy, psychology, culture, ethnic values, education and business. The participants emphasized the role of innovations, technologies and creative thinking in the development of the state and the formation of worldview guidelines of a modern young person. And the discussions demonstrated that science and culture remain powerful tools of mutual understanding, mutual respect and joint movement forward.
