On October 30, 2025, a bright celebration of Halloween – a favorite holiday of students, which combines mysticism, humor and creativity, took place at the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (USUCT).

Halloween, or All Saints’ Eve, has a centuries-old history, the roots of which go back to the Celtic festival of Samhain. Today, this holiday symbolizes fun, reincarnation and the disclosure of creative imagination – exactly what reigned that day at the USUCT.

The program of the event included thematic stations, competitions, musical numbers and a bright fashion show. Students demonstrated their imagination, artistry and sense of style, competing in competitions for the scariest and most beautiful costume.

A special gift for the guests were the fiery performances of the dance groups “Euphoria” with the number “Pink Venom” and “Rhythmix_team” with the dance “I Love You”.

The finale of the holiday was the spectacular fashion show “Fashion after dark”, during which the participants presented their thematic images and turned the hall into a real carnival of darkness, style and fantasy.

The event was held in a warm, creative and friendly atmosphere. The organizers thanked everyone who took part in the preparation and creation of the holiday, because it is thanks to the joint efforts of students and teachers that student life at the SEI USUCT remains bright, rich and unforgettable.

Halloween at the SEI USUCT is another testament to the ability of our students not only to study well, but also to create a holiday with their own hands!
