Guest lectures for students of the IS department

Було розглянуто тему освітньої компоненти «Організація баз даних та знань» Structured query language (SQL): SELECT statement intro:
- Огляд основних секцій оператору вибірки (SELECT)
- Горизонтальний та вертикальний зрізи інформації
- Накладання умов на результуючу вибірку (WHERE)
- Організація вибірки по шаблонам на текстові поля
- Використання складних умов (логічні операції AND, OR та NOT)
- Сортування
- Агрегуючі функції та групування
- Підзапити (subqueries) та об’єднання інформації (UNION)
- З’єднання та його види
- Робота з NULL-значеннями
On November 14, 2023, the training of the manager of Sigma Software University, trainer of educational camps on front-end development and php – Zybina Kateryna was invited to the lecture part of the educational discipline “Flexible software development methodologies” who held a guest lecture with a master class on the topic: Version control systems for the development of IT projects. Git technology. GitHub‘s repository. Students of the department learned the answers to the following questions:
- What are Git and GitHub?
- Why GitHub is a must have in modern development?
- How can this be useful not only for professional development, but also for a student even now?
The lectures were attended not only by students of the department, who are currently studying the mentioned disciplines, but also by other graduates of the department, receiving actual practical experience from experts of IT companies.
