On July 7, 2025, a ceremony of diplomas for bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates was held on the Fountain Square of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology. This year, 351 bachelors and 38 masters completed their studies at the university. Of these, 29 bachelors and 14 masters received diplomas with honors.

The solemn part was opened with welcoming words by the rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, Professor Konstantyn Sukhyi, and the acting director of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology, Professor Olga Sverdlikovska. The graduates were wished a confident start in their professional lives, inner strength and self-belief.

Addressing the graduates, the rector of USUST Konstantyn Sukhyi said:

“Today, symbolically, to the sounds of the air alarm, we present you with bachelor’s and master’s diplomas with honors. But our cooperation does not end there – this is just the beginning. The beginning of your creative path, your professional development. We will always be there. Every year, at the end of May, we celebrate Chemist’s Day, and here, on Fontanna Square, graduates of past years gather. They talk about their achievements, and we – about the achievements of the university.

So consider yourself a part of our family forever. We will always support you. I am sure that the start that you received within the walls of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology will become decisive for you in life.

Build families, develop the economy of our country, and most importantly – let’s bring Victory closer. Glory to Ukraine!”

Warm words addressed to the graduates were also spoken by the acting director of the SEI USUCT Olga Sverdlikovskaya:

“The diploma you received today is your indicator of the intellectual property acquired within the walls of the chemical and technological university.

I wish that in the future your professional activity will always open new horizons. Go to new heights. May the graduates of our university – the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology – always conquer the peaks of the great state of Ukraine.

Peaceful sky above your head, and may your achievements and knowledge be with you for the development of our country. Glory to the heroes! Glory to Ukraine!”

After the speech, a graduation ceremony took place. The first to walk down the red carpet were the masters and bachelors, who were presented with diplomas with honors by the rector of USUST and the director of the National Research Institute of USUCT.

The rest of the diplomas were presented by the acting director of the SEI USUCT Olga Sverdlikovska together with the deans of the faculties:

• the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering was represented by senior lecturer Serbulova Inna Valeriyevna, deputy dean for academic work;
• the Faculty of Food and Chemical Technologies – Professor Valeriy Ivanovych Ovcharov;
• the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology – Associate Professor Oleg Serhiyovych Lebid;
• the Faculty of Economics, Humanities and Law – Professor Nataliya Mykolayivna Chuprina.

Each of the deans addressed the graduates with warm words and wishes for a confident start in their professional lives.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by a musical composition performed by student Maria Verbytska. The celebration ended with a general photo, warm hugs and a bright photo session near the main building and fountain.
