On May 1, 2026, a career guidance excursion for students of Dnipro Gymnasium No. 59 to the Department of Fuel, Polymer and Printing Materials Technologies took place at the SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of USUST.

The event was conducted by the Director of the Institute, Professor Olha Sverdlіkovska, and Associate Professor of the department Vitalii Tomilo. During the meeting, the students learned about modern areas of specialist training in the fields of printing technologies, materials science, and design, as well as educational opportunities offered by the university.

The practical part of the excursion attracted particular interest. Participants had the opportunity to create branded products with USUST symbols using various printing technologies. In particular, they applied the university logo to tote bags using screen printing, produced mugs using sublimation printing, and printed on disposable cups.

Such a format allowed the students not only to see modern equipment, but also to understand how technological processes, creative solutions, and production practices are combined.

The excursion gave participants an opportunity to become more familiar with professions in the field, evaluate educational prospects, and experience the university’s academic environment focused on the integration of science, innovation, and practical experience.
