On 26 May 2026, during a meeting of the Academic Council of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of USUST, a ceremonial award presentation for university staff members took place in recognition of their significant professional, scientific, and educational achievements.

The awards were presented for many years of dedicated service, a high level of professionalism, a substantial personal contribution to the development of education and science, the training of students, and the strengthening of the educational potential of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Certificates of Merit from the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration were awarded to:

• Oksana Liashenko, Head of the Department of Information Systems, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;
• Maksym Malook, Assistant of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Safety, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);
• Oleksandr Savchenko, Head of the Department of Philology and Translation, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor.

• Liudmyla Haponova, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Translation, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor;
• Hanna Huz, Assistant of the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics;
• Yuliia Kalishenko, Assistant of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Biomedical Materials, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);
• Valeriia Pavlova, Assistant of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Safety, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

At the SEI USUCT, it is emphasized that the professional achievements of lecturers and researchers are an important component of the development of university education, modern science, and the training of competitive specialists.
