On April 8, 2026, an Easter charity fair was held in the lobby of the main building of SEI USUCT, bringing together students, academic staff, and guests around a shared good cause — raising funds for Easter gifts for children from an orphanage.

Students from all faculties actively contributed to the preparation: they prepared in advance and handmade homemade pastries and sweets, as well as created decorations, souvenirs, paintings, and other handcrafted items. Throughout the fair, everyone had the opportunity to purchase these items, and each purchase became a contribution to supporting the children and bringing them a festive mood.

The Director of SEI USUCT, Professor Olha Serhiivna Sverdlíkovska, delivered a welcoming speech. She congratulated those present on the upcoming Easter holiday, thanked everyone for their initiative and support of the charitable cause, and expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their courage and protection.

A special festive atmosphere was created by various activities. Guests had the opportunity to take part in a pysanka painting workshop, which was enthusiastically joined by both students and academic staff.

Students also prepared a small концертна program, which became a vibrant addition to the event. Toward the end, everyone gathered to break a piñata. This simple yet highly emotional interactive activity brought genuine smiles and excitement to all participants.

As a result of the fair, nearly 10,000 UAH was raised through joint efforts. All funds will be used to purchase Easter gifts for the children.

Such initiatives once again prove that even a small contribution from each individual can become part of a greater good. The charity fair at SEI USUCT not only created a festive atmosphere but also fostered a strong sense of unity, where many different people come together to do one meaningful thing.
