On October 7–10, 2025, the Acting Director of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology, Olga Sverdlikovska, as part of the team from the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, participated in the first module of the second cycle of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program. The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the British Council and within the framework of the World Bank project Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project (UIHERP).

The module entitled “The Role of the University in the Context of Social Transformations” was held at the NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic” and brought together more than 80 teams from higher education institutions of Ukraine. The program was aimed at developing the managerial and strategic competencies of university representatives.

During the sessions, participants discussed key trends in higher education management, the role of the university as a community center, the development of dual education, applied science, and interaction with employers. One of the central topics was the concept of a “social university” – an institution that works for and with the community.

The participation of Professor Olga Sverdlikovska in the program is another step towards strengthening the management potential of the institute and developing modern approaches to strategic planning and interaction with the educational community.
