Congratulations to the graduate student of the SEI USUCT USUST Dmitry Kryvolapov on the successful defense of his dissertation.
On January 23, 2026, in the hall of the Academic Council of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, a public defense of the dissertation work of the postgraduate student of the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products of the National Research Institute of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology Dmytro Kryvolapov on the topic “Highly Filled Wood-Polymer Composites for Construction Purposes Based on Polyolefins”, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 16 “Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering” in the specialty 161 “Chemical Technologies and Engineering” (scientific supervisor – Iryna Sukha, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products).
The dissertation research is distinguished by its high scientific novelty and practical significance. For the first time, a systematic analysis of the properties of wood-polymer composites using hybrid fillers and technological additives has been carried out, which opens up new prospects for creating environmentally effective and economically profitable materials.
