Professor of the Department of Inorganic Materials Technology and Ecology of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology Margarita Ivanivna Skyba became the the laureate of the Nazariy Voytovych State Scholarship, which the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine annually awards to the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

This award is one of five named scholarships established to honor the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and support young scientists who, through their research, strengthen the scientific potential and international authority of Ukraine. The Nazariy Voytovych Scholarship recognizes scientists whose activities are aimed at developing democratic values, affirming civic dignity, and strengthening the stability of the state. In 2025, scholarships for the Day of Dignity and Freedom were awarded to 25 of the best young researchers from higher education institutions and scientific institutions of the country.
