On April 24, 2026, at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, the dissertation defense of Iryna Shapka for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 051 “Economics” took place.

The research is devoted to the formation of an adaptive mechanism for the development of an organization’s human resource potential. The scientific supervision was provided by the Head of the Department of Management and Finance of the SEI USUCT, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia Yashkina.

The work was reviewed by a one-time specialized academic council, which included representatives of the SEI USUCT, other institutes of USUST, and higher education institutions of Ukraine. Based on the results of the defense, the dissertation was highly evaluated, and the applicant was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

The study proposes an approach to personnel management based on modern analytical and mathematical methods. The developed toolkit makes it possible to assess employee competencies, forecast staffing needs, and formulate decisions for team development.
