On November 17, 2025, the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (USUCT) hosted a celebration on the occasion of International Students’ Day.

The Director of the USUCT, Olga Sergiyevna Sverdlikovska, opened the program with a welcoming speech and wished the students inspiration, encouragement, and enjoyment of student life, combining studies with creativity and civic engagement.

After the welcoming speech, the program continued with a stand-up performance by Viktor Kuroyedov – light, lifelike sketches about the everyday lives of students brought smiles and applause from the audience. In the next part of the show, the audience saw bright stage numbers: choreographic performances by the groups “Rhythmix Team” (dance “We go up”) and “Euphoria” (dance “HUSH”), an incendiary rumba performed by student Alina Legka (gr. 1-iv.MEN-9) and partner Konstantin Sednev, a touching song by Maria Verbytska.

The students also prepared a collection of short sketches about student life – scenes that found a response from both young people and teachers. The audience’s attention was attracted by a video about the activities of student activists: the story shows how work is organized, rehearsals and preparations for events, as well as the results of past events.

During the festive part, the presenters noted the role of the student council and active students in organizing the life of the institute, calling them “superheroes” who do a lot of important work in a short time, and also thanked the institute’s management for supporting students, for their help, and for implementing all ideas.

The final and touching element of the event was the awarding of representatives of the student council and active students. Honorary certificates for high level of professionalism, active participation in public and cultural life of the institute and on the occasion of Student Day were awarded to:

The award ceremony was held by the director of the SEI USUCT Olga Sergiyevna Sverdlikovska and the chairman of the student council Maxim Moskalenko. Each diploma is a recognition of dedication to the institute, initiative and contribution to the cultural life of the educational institution.

The celebration took place in a warm, uplifting atmosphere: music, dance, humor and words of gratitude created a real sense of unity. The organizers and presenters thanked the management, teachers and student council for their support and assistance in preparing the event.
