In the current conditions of transformation of the educational space, it is the effective communication of higher and secondary education institutions that becomes a determining factor in the formation of professional orientations of young people. That is why the next career guidance trip of specialists of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (USUCT) became not only a presentation of educational opportunities, but also a meaningful platform for the formation of motivational strategies for high school students.

In order to popularize modern educational programs and expand opportunities for professional self-determination of future applicants, on November 18, 2025, a comprehensive career guidance event for high school students was held at the Alexandrovsky Lyceum of the Slobozhansk Settlement Council of the Dnipro district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The career guidance was organized with the participation of representatives of two faculties: Faculty of Food and Chemical Technologies (F and HT) and Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology (F and BT).

First of all, we express our sincere gratitude to the director of the lyceum Sergiy Igorovich DENYSENKOV for the high level of organization of the meeting, facilitating communication and creating comfortable conditions for the event. The career guidance dialogue was attended by over 50 students of grades 10–11, who showed significant interest in modern educational trajectories, professional training opportunities and employment prospects in leading industries.

The event was held under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, Professor Valery Ivanovich OVCHAROV, with the participation of Professor of the Department of Inorganic Substances and Ecology Igor Leonidovich KOVALENKO. An important role in the presentation of educational programs was also played by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, Associate Professor of the Department of Processes, Apparatus and General Chemical Technology Anna Aleksandrivna GURA. The Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Lina Aleksandrivna SOKOLOVA brought bright colors of awareness to the lively dialogue about the specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” under the educational program “Regenerative Physical Culture and Sports”. University representatives provided thorough information about the features of training, material and technical support, scientific and practical opportunities for students.

It should be emphasized that the teaching and student staff of the lyceum provided an extremely warm, open and friendly welcome, which contributed to constructive discussion and motivation of the entrants.

The Oleksandrivsky Lyceum demonstrated a high level of modern material equipment, innovative approaches and significant prospects in the development of the educational environment.

For active participation in discussions and questions, the most interested students received thematic gifts from the university, which was a pleasant end to meaningful cooperation.
