Career guidance meeting of representatives of the SEI USUCT at the Geneza Lyceum
On April 8, 2026, representatives of SEI USUCT of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology met with graduates of the “Triumf” Lyceum of the Pyatykhatky City Council. The conversation was informal, meaningful, and at the same time highly practical, focusing on career choice, education, and the opportunities offered by the university.
The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Food and Chemical Technologies, Professor Valerii Ivanovych Ovcharov. He emphasized the changing labor market and why it is important today to choose an education that provides flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
Associate Professor of the Department of Processes, Apparatus, and General Chemical Technology Anna Oleksandrivna Hura continued the discussion, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of modern education. She explained how combining different fields of study helps students better navigate the professional environment.
Special attention was also given to the importance of physical activity. Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Health, Associate Professor Lina Oleksandrivna Sokolova, noted that health and endurance are not only personal assets but also part of professional competence.
The practical aspects of admission were presented by a representative of the admissions committee, Associate Professor of the Department of Polymer Processing Technology and Mechanical Engineering Kateryna Volodymyrivna Roienko. She answered students’ questions and explained what to focus on when preparing for the admission campaign.
During the meeting, students learned more about the university’s educational programs. In particular, attention was given to the program “Health and Adaptive Physical Culture” within the specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports”, which focuses on training specialists in the field of health and physical activity.
