A second-year student of the National Institute of Rowing and Rowing, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Roman Polyansky once again confirmed his high level in the international arena. At the European Para-Academic Rowing Championship, which was held from May 29 to June 1, 2025 in the city of Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Roman took an honorable second place in the PR1 class among men.

In the final race, our athlete demonstrated endurance, technique and true sportsmanship, losing only to the reigning Paralympic champion from Great Britain. A total of 198 crews from 32 countries of the world took part in the competitions, and in the para-academic part – 30 athletes from 11 European countries.
