On June 26–27, 2025, the Dnipropetrovsk region championship in academic rowing among adults and youth under 23 years of age was held at the regional rowing channel. The strongest athletes of the region took part in the prestigious tournament.

A second-year student of the SEI USUCT USUST Bogdan Vasylenko (group 2-FK-59) brilliantly covered the distance of 2000 meters in the 2x class boat race and won first place. This victory is not a coincidence, but the result of hard work, daily training and support from the coaching team. Bogdan once again proved that the students of the National Institute of Rowing and Sailing of the Ukrainian State Technical University of Ukraine are not only the scientific potential, but also the sporting power of our university.
