A round table “Discovering new scientific horizons” was held at the Institute of SEI USUCT
On November 10, 2025, the Scientific and Educational Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” hosted a scientific round table “Discovering New Scientific Horizons”, organized by the student council of the institute. The event brought together young researchers who are just beginning their scientific journey, but already have interesting results and a desire to develop modern science.
Acting Director of the Scientific and Educational Institute of USUCT Olga Sverdlikovska addressed the participants with an introductory speech. She emphasized that such meetings promote creative cooperation between students, postgraduates and young teachers, help to exchange ideas and implement them in practice.
Among the speakers are students, postgraduate students and assistants who presented their own scientific works in chemical technologies, biotechnology, materials science, economics and social sciences:
- Assistant Valeria Pavlova – “Synthesis and heterocyclization of amidoalkylated 1,2-bis(thiocarbomoyl)hydrazines”;
- Vitaly Slipchenko (gr. 6-BT-38) – “The influence of leonardite on cultural and morphological indicators of Pleurotus ostreatus”;
- Mariya Verbytska (gr. 3-VP-9) – “Modern trends in the development of ionic liquids”;
- Postgraduate student Dmytro Makhota – “Electropolishing of stainless chromium-nickel steel 12X18N10T in low-temperature eutectic solvents” (within the state budget theme “Fundamentals of electrochemical synthesis of electrocatalysts…”);
- Anya Keida (gr. 4-SP-68) – “Social entrepreneurship as an innovative mechanism for solving social problems”;
- Sergiy Danylyuk (gr. 4-BT-51) – “Artificial restriction enzymes: creation, modification and prospects for use”;
- Yuriy Minakov (gr. 4-TVV-42) – “Determination of the efficiency and selectivity of anodic dissolution of heat-resistant Re-containing superalloy…” (within the state budget theme of the Department of PA and ZHT);
- Sergiy Len (gr. 1-TVV-25) – “Prospects for the application of colloidal silver in water purification technology”;
- Lidiya Dyomina (gr. 4-MEN-64) – “Modern tactics in business negotiations”;
- Vladislav Oskando (gr. 4-HT-1) – “Investigation of the properties of basalt plastics reinforced with secondary basalt fibers”.
The moderator of the event was Muradova Meriam, a student of group 3-BT-57.
The round table became a vivid example of the scientific activity of student youth, confidently moving towards new discoveries.
We congratulate the participants on a successful event and wish them new scientific achievements!
