A postgraduate student of the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the SEI USUCT successfully defended his dissertation in economics.
On April 27, 2026, at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, the public defense of the dissertation of Ivan Bobyliev, a postgraduate student of the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the SEI USUCT, took place for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 051 “Economics”.
The research focuses on strategic management of retail chains in Ukraine under martial law. The study proposes an adaptive management model that takes into account the specifics of retail enterprises operating in crisis conditions and includes tools for scenario planning, approaches to enhancing financial resilience, and optimization of logistics processes. The practical value of the results is confirmed through the example of Ukrainian retail companies.
Scientific supervision was provided by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Humanities and Law, Professor Nataliia Chupryna.
Following an open vote, the members of the one-time specialized academic council unanimously supported awarding Ivan Bobyliev the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
