A creative event and master class for students were held at the SEI USUCT on Mother’s Day
On May 7, 2026, on the eve of Mother’s Day, a warm and heartfelt event was held at the SEI USUCT of USUST, bringing together lecturers, staff, and students around the theme of gratitude to the dearest people in our lives — mothers.
Mother’s Day, traditionally celebrated in Ukraine on the second Sunday of May, is an occasion to express respect and gratitude to women who give life, provide support, and shape the values of future generations. This very idea became the central theme of the university event.
The participants shared memories, while lyrical poetry, heartfelt words of gratitude, and warm wishes from university students filled the event atmosphere. A pleasant surprise for those present was the presentation of the photo flash mob “My Mother Taught Me to Love People”. Photographs from family archives conveyed the warmth of family moments, the sincerity of emotions, and the importance of maternal support in everyone’s life.
The continuation of the festive day was the creative workshop “Bouquet for Mom”, which took place in the Art Space of USUCT. Students created decorative compositions, putting their personal emotions, gratitude, and warmth into their works. Each bouquet became a symbolic expression of love and care for mothers.
