On March 28, 2019, an open lecture by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Information Systems Zelentsov D.G. on the topic “Computational Intelligence Technologies in System Modeling Problems” was held on the basis of Ukrainian State University of Chemical technology jointly with the Methodological Center of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council. The lecture was conducted within the framework of the project “From school program to high technologies” in order to improve the skills of mathematics teachers of secondary schools in the city of Dnipro.

Visitors of the event had an opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific achievements and results of the activities of the lecturer and the department as a whole. Of extraordinary interest was the information on computational intelligence technologies used in modeling the behavior of complex dynamic systems, in particular, corroding structures. Besides, during the lecture, considerable attention was paid to such elements of computational intelligence as the theory of artificial neural networks, evolutionary modeling and fuzz- sets theory.
